Our client are enhancing their new focus areas and now searching for a responsible and curios team member for supporting in SW-update and fault tracing in complete vehicles for new car programs.
They are a dedicated team within testing complete vehicle consisting of experienced Engineers and UX researchers that can offer you the opportunity to work with all new vehicle programs throughout the concept phase until start of production.

Job description:
Your main task will be to support with SW-update, fault tracing of SW integration as well as setting up CAN communication log equipement in their test objects. All to secure that their test objects aligned with latest software and later to support in analysis (fault tracing).
You will have a close collaboration with their customers from different stakeholders.

Your expertise and abilities:
You take initiative to introduce new solutions and do not hesitate to ask colleagues for help as well as assist when needed. Personality is the key, you need to take own decisions and search for the correct answers outside the team.
The role will also require good computer skills and basic knowledge of CAN communication integrated and distributed SW systems.
Swedish driving license (B), ability to participate in test-expeditions upon needs.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform fault tracing and systems analyze regarding electrical functions in cars.
• Report faults in cars to project and line organization.
• Participate on expeditions.
• Support plants during pre-series build
• Fault tracing support during integration events

Requirements:

• Experience of in vehicle analysis and electrical fault tracing on SW
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Good knowledge in Swedish, spoken and written
• Driver’s license, B

Meritorious:

• Experience of electrical architecture
• CAN communication basics with Canalyzer, CANoe and CANape, SW download, on-board diagnosis, signal configuration
