Our client is seeking a Technical Specialist in Digital Collaboration for an initial period of six months from the start date, but likely to extend beyond that.
The Technical Specialist is responsible for developing the vision for the Digital Collaboration area into working solutions. You will participate in ongoing development from a digital perspective, providing expertise competence within the digital area, as well as testing and operational activities such as application/service maintenance and support.
Job description: As a Technical specialist you are responsible for analysing and implementing solutions as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving issues within the digital product. You will directly influence the system functionality and how users interact with it.
The Technical Specialists will also train end users and other staff members to teach them the most efficient methods for using company tech and design training materials for the same. You work hard to stay on top of fast changing technology landscape and learn new products and technologies as they become available to find the best methods for using them.
As a Technical specialist you will also provide business productivity by performing support for the enterprise, managing technical problems from request to resolution.
Tasks you will be accountable for include, for example:
Maintain a close relation to the Technical Lead and other internal stakeholders to ensure latest guidelines and guardrails are followed when developing digital solutions.
Continuously work to increase productivity and reduce cost through technical solutions to streamline business processes and programs
Ensure the solutions are built according to business needs, policies, guidelines and industry recommended practices
Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
Configure, develop, implement and install the technical components in the Digital Collaboration area
Provide expertise to resolve complex technical issues within the Digital Collaboration area
Develop automation tools for daily tasks
Interact with other digital teams and/or business functions to restore service and/or identify
Following attributes is important:
You have a background in Microsoft 365, specifically SharePoint, Teams and Power Platform
Seasoned Developer with deep insight into newest technologies and trends, as well as relevant programming experience mainly on the Microsoft 365 platform
Experience in agile ways of working is a plus, as well as strong skills of managing technical
priorities within the backlog
Hands-on experience building SPFx solutions using React, Node.js, and VS Code
Experience with Power Platform, especially Power Automate & Power Apps
