Are you a skilled and experienced CMF Studio Engineer with a passion for automotive design? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team and take on a key role in shaping the visual identity of their vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Surface Material Development: Lead the development and planning of surface materials, including color, trims, textiles, gloss, and grains for both interior and exterior components.
• Sustainable Material Choices: Ensure the selection of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials, contributing to their commitment to eco-conscious practices.
• 3D Digital and Physical Modeling: Take charge of developing 3D digital and physical models related to surface materials, demonstrating a keen eye for design and detail.
• Collaborative Design Solutions: Work closely with team designers to develop design solutions that align with the overall design intent.
• Quality Assurance: Secure design quality for all visual surfaces and parts, collaborating with suppliers and overseeing components both on- and off-board the vehicle.
• Brand Promise: Deliver on the brand promise and contribute to the execution of the brand design strategy.
• Strategic Vision: Understand the long-term ambitions of the brand and actively participate in setting design strategies to achieve these goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automotive engineering.
• Proficiency in surface material development, including color, trims, textiles, gloss, and grains.
• Strong expertise in 3D digital and physical modeling.
• Commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly design practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to ensure design quality across various development methodologies and technologies.
