Assignment description

Our client is selling a system for trucks including several nodes communicating on TE-CAN network following J1939 protocol. Each node has diagnostic implemented following the UDS standard.

The company will now develop a tool that will be used in workshops for performing diagnostic services such as reading DTCs, DIDs, clearing DTCs and writing DIDs. It shall also be prepared to perform Software downloads via the Can network.

Required information:

• Hardware device for workshop diagnose on TE-CAN
• TE-can shall be wired connected to the device
• The device shall communicate with the diagnostic server via Wi-Fi or GSM

Diagnostic server (Backend) handling:

• User authentication
• Logics for diagnostic trouble shooting.
• Manage equipment inventory.
• Interface for workshop technicians running in a web browser
• Shall be accessible from different platforms. PCs, mobile devices
• Hosting and maintenance of the proposed solution
• The system will be used by approximate 300 workshops based in northern Europe

The quote shall include:

• Development of Hardware specification, application Software Hardware, diagnostic server Software and web portal.

• Fixed hosting/maintenance cost per month
