Assignment description
For this role you will as an Senior Technical Animator create and iterate on rigs and skinning for the character models. You will alos work with the animators to meet the technical, performance and art objectives of the game.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Integrate rigs into Unreal Engine
- Have great knowledge of building technical animation related solutions in Unreal
- Develop improvements to the animation and art pipeline
- Investigate and share information on best practices and industry standards
We believe that you have:
- 5+ years experience in the games industry with game animations
- A deep understanding of rigging, skinning and python-scripting in Maya
- Experience and solid understanding of working with Unreal Engine 4/5
- Strong understanding of animation logic and anim trees
- Understanding of streamlining processes and pipelines
Bonus if you also have:
- Strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals
- Cinematic knowledge
- Unreal control rig experience
- Knowledge of performance improvement methods
