Assignment description

As a System Designer, you play an important role in realizing the interior illumination for our client. The Product Team is responsible for developing and quality assuring the functionality of interior lighting and switch and display illumination. The team collaborates with a wide variety of Stakeholders to find the best solutions, and you will work closely with Function Owners, Software Developer, Software Test Engineers and other System Designers to deliver an excellent interior illumination experience to the end customer.

What you’ll do:
You will be part of a product team in Interior Lighting that is developing technical solutions according to agile principles and the company’s Engineer Collaboration Framework. The work is conducted in an international environment in close co-operation with Software Developers, CAE/testing, Hardware design, their test facilities, and external suppliers. You will focus on providing System Solution by breaking down functional requirements and align with development teams. Review Software implementation (developed models) to mitigate the deviations from System solution. You will ensure complete traceable requirements- in Carweaver and documentation in support systems. Defining test strategy and planning and review domain test result, and perform SFMEA, IRA and boundary diagram.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Science or Master Science in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or other equivalent education
• Experience of Software System Design / Software Architecture
• Experience of reviewing Matlab/Simulink models
• Experience of traceablity of requirements in Carweaver/Systemweaver
• Experience of SFMEA, IRA and boundary diagram
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• B driving license
• Knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262 is meritorious
