Assignment description

This is a Developer role in a team of 3-4 members at our client’s company. The team is focusing on operational stability of the continuous integration (CI) machine by monitoring ongoing operations and taking actions where needed. Strategic discussions with Architects about stabilizing and improving the operations is also part of this role. Another aspect of the team is to take the perspective of the CI Users in the product development teams.
The CI machinery supports the CI infrastructure (as code) for the development of the current generation ECU IHU (Infotainment Head Unit) and the next generation (DHU). Around 30 development teams are served by the CI infrastructure.

They have a close collaboration with Google and other partners like Aptiv, QNX and QualComm.
In the CI teams they are using various tools e.g., Jenkins, Gerrit/GIT, Artifactory, SonarQube, Cloud/Azure, onprem CI lab with HW, Python, Bash, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, Robot Framework, MongoDB, Docker.
