Assignment description

Our client is looking for someone that is able to design and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies that align with company goals and project requirements. Also ensure these strategies are adaptable to various projects and technologies.
You will lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers, Business Architects, and Testers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Tasks:

• Oversee all testing activities, including automated and manual testing, to ensure high-quality software deployment
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Integrate quality assurance processes into the Azure DevOps pipeline
• Work closely with the development team to implement CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices that include robust testing protocols
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure that the software meets all performance, reliability, and efficiency standards
• Select and manage tools and technologies for testing and quality assurance
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Azure DevOps and quality assurance methodologies
• Identify potential risks in software quality and DevOps processes and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in software quality assurance
• Prepare and present detailed reports on quality assurance activities, test results, and improvement areas to Stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality assurance processes and tests

Required skills:

• Proven experience in quality assurance and testing in a DevOps environment, particularly with Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure Dev
