Assignment Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Project manager for a 100% assignment within the Transformation Management Office (TMO) at Procurement & Supply Chain Organization in the company.

Location is Göteborg and on-site presence is expected.

Project Background and Timeline:

The purpose of the Direct Material Sourcing and Ordering Transformation Program is to design the company’s future solution to handle Sourcings, Contracts Orders for our direct material workstream and to define and implement the new way of working. We aim to have a well-structured solution which will increase efficiency, transparency, and quality with minimal manual work.

The Program was initiated in beginning of 2023 with evaluations and will continue until end of 2026 with global roll-out. The supplier of the Sourcing & Ordering Systems is SAP.‌

Role description:

– Lead the Direct material Sourcing and Ordering Program consisting of the following areas:

• Sourcing solution
• Ordering solution
• Contract Management solution
• Procurement planning solution
• Coordinate and drive together with SMEs the review of existing operational processes, identify areas of improvement and develop plans for how to adopt new ways of working within the solution
• Coordinate and drive together with SMEs the harmonization of business process across regions and different lines of businesses and thus make the new procurement solutions a global solution
• Drive requirement workshops, align with SME´s to design solution and build template for roll-out to multiple markets, including facilitating Tests and Training go-live management
• Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments and project timelines
• Secure quality deliverables from the Program and the ongoing Projects
• Identify risks and issues and drive corrective actions
• Prepare and run Steering Group meetings and Program meetings
• Follow the TMO Project Management Framework for Project Management

Experience:

• Extensive experience from driving transformation initiatives within the area of Procurement and Supply Chain
• Experience from driving and collaboration with Digital (IT) to set requirements, monitor progress and evaluate developed solutions
• Experience from automotive or other high volume complex product mass-customization industry
• Experience with implementing S/4 Hana solutions in the procurement domain
