Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Test Environment Engineer.
At Research and Development within Product and Quality, you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from our client. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people.
The iCAR group is responsible for Developing, building and maintaining test objects that are used by all teams in Connected experience for software testing and development. Mainly subsystem rigs, automatic HIL rigs and cars.
You will be in the iCAR build team, this team will focus on building new test object with responsibilities such as:
- Assemble subsystem rigs (manual rigs)
- Assemble, configure and install HIL rigs
- Update SW in components
- Configure and install HIL capabilities (test cameras, logging equipment and so on)
- Plan and communicate build plan to organization
- Develop manual rigs (CAD, Harness / wires )
- Material handling
- Trouble shooting
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Valid European driver’s license B
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
