Assignment Description
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analyst with Workday certification to help continue pushing their Workday instance to be one of the best within the community. They offer an assignment that is best suited for someone that is interested in having the opportunity to work hands-on within all areas of HCM and enjoys building their Workday subject matter expertise.
The selected candidate will be engaged in the requirement elicitation, design, development and maintenance of HR projects across the different business areas. You will work closely with the HR teams to ensure a successful implementation and provide documentation for each phase of the development life cycle.
What you’ll do:
- Support HR across all business areas in creating business cases, including (but not limited to) user profiles, user stories and financial project justifications.
- Support HR in developing clear business requirements and translate them into technical development needs.
- Initiation of existing process review and optimization proposals.
- Creating structured overview to enable further support to HR initiatives.
- Ensure developments correspond to requirements.
- Act as POC for business initiatives and analysis.
- Independently configure and develop low complexities solutions in Workday.
- Present Workday product walkthroughs upon business needs.
- Support in incident management.
Examples of projects and tasks:
- Job Architecture – lead the analysis of business requirements and system capabilities. Present best practices and possibilities such as benchmarking and grading systems. Document and present an implementation suggestion aligned with business requirements.
- Human Capital Planning – lead the analysis work to implement the foundations required for a full HCP process (based on E2E employee lifecycle). This should cover existing practices and future practices in collaboration with both HR and Finance requirements and capabilities.
Tasks:
- Process mapping – review existing E2E process (i.e. employee lifecycle) and provide recommendations for optimisation and optimisation based on best practices
- Development and testing – following an analysis with the business, create MVP mockup for the business to test and agree on the right course of action. For example, to enhance Performance Management, support in review the existing process and consider further elements to be added for the quarterly reviews (low effort, high reward). Suggestion to be configured independently
Who you are:
- For this assignment we are looking for several years of experience within a similar position needing excellent business analyst skills such as requirement elicitation, requirements management, and a communicative way of working
- General understanding of CMS platform, corporate communication processes and capabilities
- General technical understanding of related IT systems and platforms
- Act like a technical interpreter towards the business sid
- Experience in working with Azure AD and identity management
- Proficient in tools to manage backlogs, requirements, and processes such as Jira, Confluence, Miro or similar
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Master verbal and written communication in English on a professional level, and prior work experience in an international context
- Experienced in M365 and Power Automate
- Have at least fundamental coding skills
- We are looking for someone who is structured, driven and have a problem-solving mindset supplemented by a hands-on attitude
