Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a Data Analytic Engineer.

At Global Technical Support, you are part of a global team with the purpose to safeguard that the client’s consumers continuously have the freedom to move, by providing preventative & precise support for their mobility solutions.

The automotive industry is currently undergoing a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviors, technology shifts and digitalization. Within the department Product Performance, we are applying our data driven and customer-oriented approach to help others to see and understand the customer when a defect caused by a quality deviation occurs.

What you’ll do:
As Data Analytic Engineer, you are part of a global team, working cross-functionally within the Current Model Quality Arena.

Your main task is to design and deploy analytical models into future products to meet the future data needs. You will investigate what tools, competence and collaboration is needed to meet the future data needs for the organization.
You are supporting the teams to upskill and get the necessary support to be more data driven.

Your main task is to work with data modelling, database creation, and BI reporting to meet the needs of our organization. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that meet the specific requirements of our business and future needs, as well as creating and managing databases that support our operations You will also be part of a team for developing BI reports that provide meaningful insights into our business performance.

You will also be responsible for supporting teams to upskill and providing them with the necessary support to become more data driven. This may include leading workshops or providing one-on-one coaching.

You and your skills:

You have experience from Data science and Data Analytics (or equivalent work life experience), Degree in Engineering, Excellent language skills in English, both in writing and speaking.

You should have experience in data modelling and SQL, as well as a strong understanding of database management. You should also have experience designing and implementing analytical models using BI platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams. Finally, you should have a passion for helping others learn and grow in their data analytics skills.
