Our client is seeking a Group Design Leader – Traction Battery Management System

You will be part of a BMS team (Battery Management System) that develop and realize the BMS HW functionality.

In the role as GDL within BMS team, you have the responsibility to find solutions for technical documentation in the industrialization and maintenance phases in accordance with time, technology, quality cost (TTC). The work is cross-functional with many contacts both within and outside our clients company, in most cases in an international environment where English is used for communication. Time is valuable. Having a structured work schedule and managing your tasks well is of the essence.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the design task within a cross functional teams (e.g. Suppliers, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design, Supplier Quality Management (SQM))
• Communicates goals, commitment, status and forecasts for the tasks
• Initiate and implement technical logical plan for components/systems/materials
• Anchor decisions, development and status with line managers, project managers and cross functional team
• Handle and follow up requirements
• Secure content of Engineering Statement of Work (ESOW)

Required qualifications:

• You need a B.Sc. grade within electronics, or a similar education.
• Good administrative capacity, structured and analytical
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Technical competence including an analytical ability
• Knowledge of how technical development process works in projects.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Very good practical and theoretical knowledge within the product area and the impact on complete vehicle.
• Team leadership experience
• Experience within product development and preferably within the section’s technology area
• Business acumen
• Driver’s license
