Are you the Software Engineer that our client is currently seeking? The role is part of a 6-person team, collectively covering all content within Vehicle Tophat with a focus on quality assurance.

They are on an exciting journey to improve the quality of their products and provide an exceptional customer experience. The team must be eager to learn and continually develop to ensure the best customer experience when using their products.

Vehicle Tophat Quality & Launch provides support to departments and stakeholders in the development teams on Tophat within R&D, addressing risk management for both hardware and software.

Main Responsibilities

As QE – Quality Engineer:

• Manage risks and prevent problems in the early phases of product development by supporting teams in applying methods to detect and reduce risks, as well as making robust design choices.
• Instill a quality mindset, methods, and tools to help create a quality-assured product.

As SWQA – Software Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Support teams in quality assuring new and existing functionalities. Ensure that the right quality assurance activities are planned and support teams with quality assurance of software development, including software developed by suppliers and in-house.
• Develop and improve the quality assurance for software development.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance for both hardware and software.
• Technical education at the university level or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Failure Mode Avoidance (primarily Preliminary Risk Assessment and FMEA).
• Automotive SPICE assessments (auditor meritorious).
• XFMEA (meritorious).
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification (meritorious).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
