Assignment description

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our client’s Digital Workplace Experience team, part of the Digital Workplace area. You will be one of several UX and change management professionals, focusing on the digital workplace user experience including; hardware, software applications, collaboration tools, operating systems and online/onsite support.

They are on a change path, shifting from delivering technology to people, to instead focusing on improving the user journey. To enable this change, you will team up with product managers, technical experts and other digital experience professionals, advocating design thinking methods and help pave the way for a user perception driven approach in everything they do.

What You’ll Do 
In the role as UX Designer you will be dedicated to their Digital Assist department, consisting of Global Service Desk, Onsite Support, Knowledge Management, User Access Management, Market Support and Advanced/VIP Support. Your primary scope will be to take UX lead in elevating their current Self-service portal (ServiceNow). Your priorities will be to drive research with end users, lead workshops with stakeholders to continuously review and prioritize the work, prototype, and evaluate the designs.

  • Independently drive qualitative and quantitative user research and workshops with stakeholders to analyse research data, prioritize and map out the design phases.
  • Enhance findability and usability of the portal.
  • Design solutions based on branding and technical abilities.
  • Perform continuous evaluation of the portal and hierarchy.

In addition, you will:

  • Take an active role in the Digital Workplace Experience team, and support others in UX related tasks.
  • Advocating for a user centric approach in everything they do.

Who are you?

  • 5 years of UX design experience, including track record in taking lead and coordinating UX initiatives.
  • Understanding of ITSM tools is preferable, especially ServiceNow.
  • Outcome oriented and a trusted partner to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written English
