Are you prepared to contribute to the creation of the next generation of car user manuals? As the Lead Project Manager of User Information, you hold the overall responsibility for the development and maintenance of user information in both digital and paper formats.

The primary objective of the user information is to enhance users’ understanding of their cars’ features in an engaging, unique, and user-friendly manner. Our client, a distinctive car brand, sets high expectations for innovative user information that not only informs but also encourages users to explore further.

The strategy for our user information is to deliver hassle-free, personal, and inspiring content throughout the entire customer journey. Collaboration with various departments, including branding, R&D, Aftersales, Legal, Quality, UX, and App developers, plays a significant role in this position.

Requirements

In terms of experience, we are primarily seeking an individual with:

  • Experience as a project leader or product owner.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience in product information work in another industry.
  • Proficiency in using topic-based authoring tools.

Working proficiency in American English; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.

Software and IT

Knowledge of other CMSs is beneficial. The utilization of DocFactory for previous cars and the ongoing authoring of new models in a similar tool is part of the role.

Personal Attributes

In this role, you will have substantial autonomy to shape the User Information. Taking initiative and steering development in alignment with their brand are essential.

We are seeking a team-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating the team. Fearless in challenging norms, you should propose creative solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. This is a 6-month position covering parental leave.

Ability to:

  • Lead a team dispersed across different geographical locations.
  • Proactively take initiative, understanding that valuable information may arise informally.
  • Prioritize tasks and adjust priorities promptly when required.

Key Deliverables

  • Completion of User Information for three car models.
  • Ongoing maintenance of existing User Information.
