Our client in the automotive industry is now seeking a Electrical design leader within Testing Technology and Metrology.

Where you’ll belong
We are looking for an Electrical design leader with good skills within metrology, design, and network to join our client’s Testing Technology & Metrology team within R&D in Gothenburg.

At Testing Technology & Metrology they establish and develop relationships with test engineers with almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building as well as building an understanding of the technology within those areas. They provide metrology expertise, solutions for testing, lending of instrumentation, design and service of development tools and solutions for testing departments.

What you’ll do:

• You will be an Electrical design leader for an existing system requiring updates
• Responsible for system verification and project progress leadership
• Support internal R&D organization and customers/colleagues in utilizing metrology and testing tools
• Focus on measurement solutions in electrical vehicles
• Collaborate closely with test engineers from various R&D departments such as Electric Powertrain, Active Safety, Chassis, and Electrics/Electronics
• Development tools used include INCA, Vector, and Dewesoft
• Communication protocols utilized include Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and Flexray

Requirements:

• B.Sc. Degree or higher in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar relevant field
• Previous experience in a design leader role
• Good knowledge of metrology tools and techniques
• General automotive knowledge
• Genuine interest in technology and problem-solving
• Driver’s license (B) is meritorious
