Assignment description

Our client is now seeking a Hardware Engineer.

Design and develop electrical systems for steering systems, including power distribution, wiring harnesses, and control systems. Collaborate with other engineers, such as mechanical and software engineers, to integrate electrical components into the overall steering system.

Component Selection:
Select appropriate electrical components, such as sensors, actuators, and electronic control units (ECUs), based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and industry standards.

Circuit Design:
Analyze and evaluate detailed circuit diagrams and schematics for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Prototyping and Testing:
Conduct testing and validation procedures to ensure the adherence of electrical systems to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and other team members to seamlessly integrate electrical systems with various vehicle components.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Investigate and resolve electrical issues during both the development and manufacturing phases.

Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant regulations and standards, staying updated on industry standards, safety regulations, and emerging technologies related to automotive electrical systems.

Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation for electrical designs, including specifications, test plans, and technical reports.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement in design processes, cost efficiency, and the overall performance of electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in automotive electrical system design and development.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
