Assignment Description

Our client in the aviation industry is looking for a Junior Sourcing Manager for an assignment in Stockholm to start ASAP.

This assignment offers a hybrid working model with 2 days a week onsite.

What you’ll do:

• You will, together with a colleague, drive and coordinate procurement activities within the ”ground operations” category, which includes logistics and transportation
• Lead and coordinate procurement activities for both ”ground operations” and ”Cabin Interior” and collaborate daily with stakeholders and suppliers
• Ground Operations aims to ensure efficient ground operations at the company’s hubs (Arlanda, Oslo, Copenhagen)
• Your responsibilities include supporting this department through the procurement/leasing of vehicles for loading and unloading, baggage handling, and other equipment
• The Cabin Interior category encompasses the procurement of seats, TV screens, ovens, and more for the client’s aircraft

Who you are:

• You are detail-oriented, have the ability to see the big picture, and to build relationships
• A good business acumen and strong proficiency in business English, both spoken and written, are essential to perform this work successfully
• Academic background (preferably in engineering)
• Experience in the aviation industry is desirable
• You are analytical and enjoy optimizing processes and challenging the status quo
• Negotiation skills are important, as is the ability to create and maintain relationships
