Assignment Description

Our client is looking for a Test Engineer to work in the System Solution Verification Team within the System Solution department in R&D.

The company’s product portfolio is getting more and more complex, with more electronic and software based products. The customer’s demand on more connectivity and seamless integration of their products into a user-friendly and flexible system is constantly increasing. The need for shorter time to market of new functionality is another strong market trend. This puts high demands on the company’s ability to produce not only robust products with the highest customer value, but also systems with a high degree of modularity and platforms with longevity to facilitate rapid customer adaptations.

The team will be responsible for ensuring quality and stability of our system solutions. As test engineer you will be part of a team that verifies that the client’s system solutions meet their performance, stability, stress and reliability requirements. The team will also verify system robustness and specification requirements. In your role as test engineer you will for example;

• Create test planning for system releases
• Create test cases based on requirements and feedback from customers
• Create/adapt our test environment to enable more automation
• Perform manual test with goal to automate
• Develop automated test scripts
• Perform manual and/or automated testing
• Report test progress and results

Requirements:

• Experience of system test cases (manual and/or automated)
• Knowledge in Embedded systems, Linux, Python, Selenium, DB, JIRA, TestRail and ISTQB.
• You need a background and education in Software, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• You need to be good at English speaking, understanding and writing. Swedish is an advantage.
