Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking a Test Engineer to develop and maintain product test plans in line with the overall testing strategy. Responsibilities include identifying test scenarios based on product requirements, specifying requirements, and creating automated test scripts accordingly. Additionally, conducting manual tests according to the established test plan, monitoring the automated test pipeline for results, and generating comprehensive test reports, including summaries and recommendations for stakeholders. The role also involves installing and managing the product-specific target system and test environment.

Knowledge/Experience Requirements:

• Technical education at the master’s or bachelor’s level.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing.
• Excellent knowledge and practical experience in testing Windows desktop applications and Linux-based applications throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience working with various network protocols such as OPC, Modbus, etc.
• Understanding of industry automation standards.
• Experience with various distributions of Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in creating test plans and reports.
• Experience in test automation.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with the Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with various frameworks for test automation.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for planning, test case management, and CI environments.
