Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Application Support.

They are on a journey with their customers towards digitalizing the future. They combine IT expertise with car retail knowledge to create solutions that makes the life of car dealership easy. They have customers in Sweden, Norway and Japan. They are constantly looking for talented people within IT and the car dealer industry.

Team/Product
You will work in a team of 5 people with the main assignment to maintain, support and operate a product called “GI”. The product, which is a legacy data warehouse solution, will be decommissioned in the coming years and replaced with a new solution. The team works in tight collaboration with other integrated product teams, partners and customers on a daily basis. The product is in itself business critical and also highly integrated in the eco-system with to products and services that are business critical to their customers and partners.

Scope/Key tasks:

• As Application Support you will be part of a team of 5 people responsible for support, maintenance and application operation for GI.
• The team is also supporting the decommission of the product through discoveries, documentation and collaboration with partners, customers and other product teams in the organization.

Experience/Skills:

• You have experience in application/system support, or software development and can understand and navigate in a technical environment.
• If you have experience with Java, SQL, Relation databases, Terminal(OpenVMS or Linux) that is a plus.
• You can speak fluent in Swedish or Norwegian, and English.
