Assignment Description:

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Engineer.

Their department is developing a solution that will enable our client to collect data from customer vehicles in a sustainable, personalized, and safe manner. They are responsible for creating measurement assignments to collect data from ECUs (Electronic Control Units) in the car. Their department oversees Data Collection System Product Function, Product Capability, and Customer Function.

Responsibilities:

• Develop foundational test case scenarios for the teams, laying the groundwork for further innovation.
• Ensure that testing stages validate quality and comply with safety regulations.
• Assist development teams by providing a solid base for test scenarios and offering guidelines for the test framework.
• Collaborate in defining requirements and maintaining test documentation.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings with relevant parties.
• Investigate and enhance test environments to meet future platform needs.
• Engage in problem-solving, fault tracing, and debugging.
• Participate in technical discussions and decisions.

Competence:

• Hold a University Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical and/or Software Engineering, or possess equivalent experience, particularly within the automotive industry, with solid knowledge in software development, testing, test strategies, and quality assurance.
• Have experience with integration-driven development and evolving systems within a complex electrical system.

• Proficient in Python coding and automotive Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
