Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Configuration Manager.

You will closely collaborate with program managers to identify necessary test objects, vehicles, and rig kit volumes, prioritize tasks, manage risks and deviations, and support material ordering.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate and lead the analysis and verification of systems and subsystems.
• Determine the required number of test objects, cars, and rigs for each pre-series build.
• Manage work requests from the Propulsion & Energy organization for the programs.
• Plan, optimize, and prioritize vehicle test objects in collaboration with Program Managers.
• Maximize utilization within Propulsion & Energy.
• Prepare test objects and coordinate interface parts required for rigs.
• Gather vehicle test requests from Propulsion & Energy.
• Compile, track, and update information for each test object variant.
• Include test object ID, preparation needs, and specifications.
• Coordinate and communicate any deviations, delays, or risks affecting test object deliveries to customers.
• Collaborate with program managers to identify necessary test objects, vehicles, and rig kit volumes.
• Prioritize tasks, manage risks and deviations, and support material ordering.
