Assignment Description

We are currently seeking a System Engineer to reinforce our client’s Visibility Functions team in the automotive industry. The team’s mission is to deliver top-notch customer functions for their upcoming vehicles.

The Visibility Functions Team, operating within the Vehicle Tophat Solution and Exterior Systems ART, is responsible for developing Visibility, Cleaning, and Rear-view functions, systems, and software to ensure an exceptional customer experience in future vehicles. Collaborating with the team, you will contribute to the development and design of systems that offer the desired customer functions.

What You Will Do

As a system engineer, your responsibilities include:

• Developing a system that meets the agreed cross-functional solution.
• Ensuring compliance of solutions with all agreed requirements.
• Breaking down and distributing functional requirements to the execution environment, and facilitating functional and non-functional realization in Car Weaver, in collaboration with the team and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A relevant background with a university degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in System engineering or a solid understanding of electrical systems gained from SW testing.
• Previous experience in software development would be advantageous.
• A driving license ”B”.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Desired Skills

Skills that would further enhance your contribution to the team include:

• Experience with C++ programming.
• Proficiency in Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with System Weaver, Elektra, Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet), and automotive standards such as Functional Safety ISO26262 and Cybersecurity ISO21434.
