Assignment Description

Our client in banking is looking for a MQ Platform Engineer for an assignment in Stockholm.

As a Platform Engineer you will make a substantial impact for customers and colleagues by developing and maintaining parts of the client’s global integration platform. Here you will be a part of a skilled and experienced team with the responsibility for transactions at the heart of the bank. You will work with problem solving, system development, automation, cloud computing and driving change to thrive towards tomorrow’s platform with modern technology.

You will belong to a distributed team of five colleagues, working in Solna and Vilnius. The team is committed to developing solutions that will benefit the business, and they do this by collaboration and innovation and hope you share this view as well.

You and your team are responsible for the IBM MQ and ACE platform which entails daily deliveries, maintenance, and support to other technical departments within the bank.

The client has a policy of working 3 days onsite per week and 2 days remote.

Qualifications:

• To succeed in this role, you have experience working with IBM MQ and ACE and/or other messaging platforms.
• You have experience of implementing security best practices.
• As a person you have a huge interest, commitment, and eagerness to learn. You value teamwork, technical challenges, customers, and have a business mindset. Being perceptive for new opportunities, a driving person and communicative.
• Experience of working with automations with ansible, terraform and scripting as a necessity, ensuring that the platform is modern and secure.
• Experience from Linux, API and windows servers
• Since the client moving towards the cloud, experience from cloud solutions is meritorious.

Language Skills:

English and Swedish is meritorious.
