Assignment Description

Our client in banking is looking for a Senior Project Manager within insurance to an assignment in Stockholm.

The client is a leading provider of financial services in the Swedish market for life and pension insurances. They have embarked on a modernization journey, and for 2024, the next step involves reviewing the possibility of introducing a new core system for insurance administration. This review process will be conducted in collaboration with Lumera within the framework of a program called Duplex.

Program Duplex is seeking to bolster its core team with an experienced IT Project Manager. As an IT Project Manager in Duplex, you will play a pivotal role in a high-priority initiative, working alongside a talented team to explore the feasibility of introducing a new core system for PFAB. You will lead the IT and Test stream, overseeing 10 important workstreams critical to the success of the program. Your decisions and leadership during this phase will shape the program’s direction for years to come.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT project manager, with a strong background in the insurance industry, particularly in business transformation and Lumera Core.
• Experience in previous business transformations driven by core system changes within insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including Business Analysts, IT Developers, Testers, and Architects.
• Ability to develop approaches and plans for integrating Lumera Core with other systems, such as master data systems, trading systems, cash flow systems, and accounting systems.
• Experience in developing IT development strategies, test strategies, and environments.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, change management, and decision-making.
• Self-driven with a high sense of responsibility for timely and high-quality deliverables.
