Assignment Description

Our client banking is looking for a Senior Frontend React Developer for an assignment in Oslo. For this assignment you are expected to be onsite in Oslo/Lysaker at least 3 times a week.

In the banks Digital department, they create solutions for all of their business units, comprising of insurance, savings & investing, bank and pensions. The bank has a strongly skilled team taking responsibility for all in-house developed solutions. The bank is experiencing strong growth and are now strengthening their team with a Senior Frontend Developer. Your work will have a direct impact on many thousands of customers every single day. The client is looking for a motivated and highly skilled person who want to go the extra mile, have a high sense of urgency and are dedicated to their profession.

About The Role:

As part of the Digital Bank Team, you will be exposed to a fast-paced environment, as they continuously innovate and push the client’s fintech agenda.The bank is a pure digital player, but they see the value in hybrid (partially advisor driven) solutions, so they aim to combine the best of both worlds to gain a competitive edge. The digital banking team today consists of 8 developers, some designers and 2 product managers, in addition to about 10 product experts/owners. As they grow, they will form more dedicated and focused teams working on specific challenges. Your tasks will vary based on the project at hand, you’ll never be bored. 75% of the client’s technology stack is new, and they continue to replace legacy. They work ”more agile than agile” and do what is needed at all times. Motivation and spirits in the team are high. Instead of sprints, they work with continuous deliveries in Kanban. The client avoids working isolated but collaborate with the support of experienced architects and professionals. You can always fall back on one of the many members of the banks overall Digital team. Everyone can suggest new approaches, be part of technology guilds, and take ownership. You need to be focused on the customer, make sure what you create provides value and long-term business success.
