Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a System Engineer for New Development.

They comprise a group of 20 engineers dedicated to delivering Interior Sensing. Across two teams, you’ll encounter a diverse range of experience levels, from recently graduated to senior engineers, representing five different nationalities. English is the primary language used in their daily work. The cross-functional teams encompass various roles, including System Designers, Software Developers, Testers, and Project Leaders.

On Tuesdays, they begin with a joint breakfast in the office, sharing the meal with their sister group, Roof Zone Module. Once a week, they engage in a presentation by one of their colleagues, fostering a deeper understanding of each individual. Thursdays are dedicated to Fika, providing an opportunity for informal social interaction.

Responsibilities:

• You will take ownership of the System Design for the Hands-off Wheel detection functions.
• Collaborating with the Component Owner, Tester, Software Developer, and Supplier, you will ensure the successful implementation of functional features in the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• You hold a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
• Previous experience in Automotive Electronics System Design and Functional Safety (ISO26262) is required.
• Fluency in English is essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships both internally and with suppliers.

Meritorious Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of vehicle communication networks (e.g., LIN).
• Experience with capacitive sensors.
• Familiarity with SystemWeaver and Elektra.
• Possession of a B driving license.
