Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer for the Start team within Base technology.

The test environment spans multiple platforms and technologies. You will perform testing in box cars, HIL/CIL, and complete vehicles in close collaboration with your team members and other Software Test Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate work with your colleagues in the team.
• Analyze requirements, develop test cases, drive the implementation of test automation, and integrate them into the CI Chain.
• Develop test cases for requirements and implement test cases in CI Device.
• Identify test needs, execute tests, and drive the implementation of test automation.
• Implement failure mode test cases.
• Support fault tracing and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to system testing and update test methods, tools, and processes.
• Contribute to the team’s test strategy and work with other team members to improve the team’s overall test strategy and quality of testing.
• Be a member of the agile team and manage interfaces with stakeholders internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent documented experience.
• Swedish B driving license or equivalent.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Good software development skills and knowledge in:
  • Python/CAPL
  • Robot Framework/Jenkins
  • Git/Gerrit
  • Matlab/Simulink
  • Vector tools
  • Jira
  • Automation testing tools.
• Knowledge and awareness of:
  • ISO 13400 DoIP protocol
  • CAN – 15765, ISO 14229 UDS protocol Wake-up strategies
  • CANoe
  • DSA
  • External/Internal Tester Priority State Machine
  • Requirement handling.
• Knowledge and understanding of C and C++ coding.
• Experience working in a SAFe/Agile team and environment.
• Knowledge of Vehicle Mode Management is meritorious.
• Meritorious experience with SystemWeaver and Elektra tools.
