Assignment Description

On behalf of our client in Moss, Norway we are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Engineer with expertise in network systems architecture, as well as server and storage infrastructure management, to join their team. This role involves working on the infrastructure of the client’s computer systems, ensuring seamless operations, and contributing to the scaling of their network to accommodate thousands of robots.

This is an on-site assignment and relocation will be provided. (Please don’t hesitate if you would like to submit your application in Norwegian.)

The client designs androids built to benefit society. Since 2014, they’ve been building androids with the product design mindset of safety first, balanced performance, and smart behavior. Their mission is to build androids that work alongside people to meet the world’s labor demand and build an abundant society. Their wheeled model, is engineered to work with you, from guarding to logistics, and their bipedal model, is designed to become a general-purpose android, with a broad deployment in various applications, and, eventually, assisted living.

What you’ll do:

• Manage computer systems infrastructure, including network, server, and storage operations.
• Design and implement systems architecture to support massive scaling for the client’s growing robotic fleet.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure network efficiency and stability.
• Contribute to ICIT (Infrastructure, Cloud, and Information Technology) initiatives.
• Lead migration projects and work closely with external consultants when necessary.

Must-Haves:

• Strong background in network and systems engineering, with a focus on storage systems.
• Expertise in network, server, and storage practices.
• Proven experience in system architecture, especially in a scale-up environment.
• Familiarity with security protocols and measures.
• Previous exposure to Machine Learning scaling.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience in scaling projects, ideally with thousands of robots.
• Familiarity with ICIT initiatives and a proactive approach to contribute to its development.
• Worked on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth of a globally expanding company.
