Assignment Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Digital ASIC designer for an assignment in Lund.

What you’ll do:

As digital ASIC designer you will be developing the digital parts of the disruptive mmWave digital beamforming radio architecture. The work includes the design and verification of ASICs as well as the development of FPGA platforms for demonstration and verification of the client’s radio solutions. As a developer you will also follow the future trends of digital ASIC design in the area of mmWave radio, in collaboration with customers, partners and universities.

Most of the work will be conducted at the clients office in Lund

Who you are:

• M.Sc.E.E or PhD in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Embedded systems, Wireless Communication, Computer Science, Signal Processing or equivalent background.
• A background in ASIC / SoC or FPGA design and/or verification/simulation at sub-system and/or chip level
• 10+ years of experience, with multiple projects from design to tape-out under the belt
• A good understanding of the Digital ASIC backend flow and tools
• Experience from ASIC/FPGA design and verification in real customer projects will be counted as a significant plus
• Knowledge about wireless communication, radio transceivers and radio system components.
• Knowledge about ASIC/FPGA implementations of new algorithm paradigms, based on AI and machine learning is also counted as a significant plus
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently
