Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer.

Our client’s mission is to develop, support, operate, and maintain their core IT platforms and tools to meet their business challenges in the short and long term. They are responsible for maximizing the value of their IT platforms, balancing development, lifecycle management, and ensuring platform functionality and stability. They are enablers for their software development teams and will work closely with their developers to deliver best-in-class solutions to their customers and develop solutions for developers. Providing IT platforms that allow developers to use their creativity to build products and services is critical in a modern, software-first world. Good IT platforms enable developers to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs.

Qualifications:

• Senior software developer with a working knowledge of C# and .Net microservice APIs.
• Very good understanding of agile software development processes and practices.
• Experience with platform teams and self-service products and capabilities.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud, including storage, Key Vault, containers, and working knowledge of Azure Portal.
• Familiarity with Azure API Management.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Event-Driven Systems and Architecture.
• DevOps experience, including supporting and testing code.
• Ability to support internal development teams and customers through various channels.
• Familiarity with Rabbit MQ and distributed event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Azure Event Grid.
• Proficiency in integration strategy and architecture.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development.
• Familiarity with Postman and API testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines and infrastructure-as-code).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Powershell.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/Kibana.
