Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer with AWS expertise. They adhere to the SAFe agile framework and embrace the Elite Software Performer philosophy of DevSecOps. Each team operates as a self-sufficient unit, responsible for the assets they create. With Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies in place, you can expect rapid and reliable delivery of features and functions to production.

Our client’s team embodies openness, attentiveness, and a flexible approach to collaboration, whether it’s through pair programming or mob programming, with Java at the heart of their operations. Stakeholder support and on-call duties are shared responsibilities within the team.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, with experience in Microservices and Serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Cloud expertise, particularly in AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, and CloudFormation.
• Enjoyment of collaborative work in pairs and mobs.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of container architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
