Assignment description

Our customer is looking for a Senior BI designer who is enthusiastic about empowering data-driven decision making by transforming data into appealing and easily consumable visualisations. You are curious by nature, and you love working with Data & Analytics, create stunning visualisations and can partner with stakeholders to answer key business questions. You have the ability to move between theory and practice taking on challenges and opportunities as needed.

What you’ll do

• In collaboration with the Head of Strategic Data & Reporting Products and future product owner, engage with relevant business stakeholders to understand business requirements and use cases and turn these into visualisations with great UX experience
• You will solve business problems by exploring trends and patterns in data and transform it into actionable insights
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
• Tell stories by applying your excellent data visualisation skills
• Collaborate with technical teams and product owners to measure, report, and take action

Your skills

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in analytics and business intelligence
• You have knowledge and proven experience from designing visualisations with great usability experience
• Proven experience from delivering dashboard and reports to senior executives
• Expert data visualization skills using Power BI or similar tools
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence both business and technical teams
• Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard and to formulate metrics is meritorious
• You have a way with numbers, as well as a strong business sense, and ability to inform strategic business decisions
• Experience with the Automotive industry is meritorious
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn new skills
• Demonstrated strength in Data Modeling
