Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an Embedded System Engineer. Within the Connectivity Platform in R&D, our client builds products that enhance the car ownership experience. Their teams develop connectivity products and services for vehicles, enabling seamless connectivity anytime, anywhere. They are seeking individuals to strengthen their Base Tech team within the Connectivity Platform. This team focuses on Diagnostics, Software Download (SWDL), and Power Management for the Telematics and Connectivity Antenna Module (TCAM) component in vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Test and verify TCAM base test requirements for Diagnostics, SWDL, and Power Management, with a primary focus on Test Automation.
• Improve test automation by creating robot test cases that run automatically in their CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) environment to verify new software deliveries or using programming language scripts for test log analysis.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, both internally within our client’s R&D and externally with suppliers, for fault report analysis and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BSc degree in Software Engineering or similar.
• Passion for vehicle component testing and verification, familiarity with unit/component/domain/complete test, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) flow.
• Proficiency in SW development programming languages (e.g., Python, Robot Framework) and SW release processes.

Competence/Tools Needed:

• Vehicle component testing and verification.
• Python, Robot Framework.
• UDS (Unified Diagnostic Service) protocol.
• CAN/Ethernet communication in vehicles.
• Linux OS.
