Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a UX Designer Practitioner. The Car UX Controls Team within our client’s organization is in need of an experienced UX Designer to assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for automotive interfaces. You will play a pivotal role in the entire development process, from ideation to detailed interaction design and usability testing.

Please note that this position is temporary, covering a paternity leave.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into design concepts.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs for automotive infotainment systems, dashboards, and other in-car interfaces.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in automotive UX design.
  • Participate in a design team and closely collaborate with other UX and visual designers, working from a backlog.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Media, Arts, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in UX/UI Design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, After Effects, and Protopie.
  • Experience with design systems and maintaining design consistency across multiple platforms.
  • Understanding of the in-car user context is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent English language skills.
