Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer.

As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing highly effective test solutions and test cases to ensure fast and robust software development that delivers excellent customer functions.

As a developer with a focus on analysis and verification, you will work within an agile cross-functional team. Leveraging your expertise in testing, you will actively coach team members on matters related to quality from a test perspective. This includes ensuring testability during architecture design or function development, writing and guiding the team in writing test cases, and automating tests for regression testing. As a team player, you will collaborate with your colleagues to achieve common goals, learning and gaining insights from other disciplines within the team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the team in test-related activities during design and development.
• Design, implement, and execute test methods in both automated and manual test environments.
• Report test results and provide appropriate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Analyze defects and issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive and Body/Comfort systems development.
• Familiarity with tools such as CANoe, Jenkins, and other test frameworks.
• Experience with systems like Elektra, CarCom, or System/Car Weaver.
• Knowledge of test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing.
