Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Infotainment Tester. As a Software Tester within the Infotainment department, you will be an integral part of an agile cross-functional development team responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, documentation, implementation, verification, and validation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your team to perform test analysis.
• Create and document both manual and automated test procedures.
• Plan, execute tests, analyze results, and report any issues or anomalies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing whenever there are new changes to the code.
• Manage test cars and test environments to ensure the integrity of the system under test.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders.
• Engage in our client’s test community and collaborate with other testers.
• Ensure comprehensive knowledge of overall software quality.

Qualifications:

• Hold an M.Sc in Software Engineering or possess equivalent experience through years of practice.
• Have several years of experience in software testing, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Be well-versed in testing methodologies such as exploratory testing and test analysis.
• Demonstrate proficiency in test automation, utilizing tools like Robot Framework, Python, or similar languages.
• Possess experience in troubleshooting methodology.
• Hold a valid driver’s license (B-level).
• Exhibit clear communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Have previous experience with agile methodologies.
• Experience in Linux, Android, and Canoe is considered advantageous.
