Role Overview:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer/DevOps Engineer to collaborate closely with our IT Architects and System Developers. In this role, you will be responsible for the operations, development, and management of our server environment. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions that support our growth and uphold our commitment to security.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT Architects and System Developers to design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
• Manage and maintain our server environment, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Develop and implement automation tools and processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cyber threats.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to improve our infrastructure and processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support development, testing, and deployment activities.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as a Linux and Windows systems administrator with a strong DevOps mentality in various companies.
• Demonstrated experience in operations engineering and configuration management, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, etc) to manage and deploy infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, firewalls), protocols (TCP, UDP), and security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and metrics tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system health and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
