Assignment Description 

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Process Implementation:
  • Conduct gap analysis and develop action plans to implement SW processes like ASPICE.
  • Coach the team on adhering to SW processes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Requirements Analysis:
  • Analyze and comprehend software function requirements in steering systems.
• Software Design and Development:
  • Design and execute software functions based on system requirements.
  • Create test cases from software requirements.
• Integration and Testing:
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software function reliability and functionality.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting:
  • Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Utilize debugging tools and techniques for problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Documentation:
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and testing procedures.
• Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and other software developers, to achieve project objectives.
  • Participate in design reviews and team meetings.
• Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure software functions comply with relevant automotive standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in SW industrialization and ASPICE.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, such as CAN.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in automotive software development within Steering Systems.
