Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Facility Engineer for iCAR – Connected Experience – 95540.

Within the Research and Development department, focusing on Product and Quality, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of outstanding luxury cars for our client. Collaborating with engineers worldwide, you and your team will pioneer innovative, human-centric car technologies aimed at simplifying and enhancing people’s lives.

Infotainment stands as one of the fastest-growing sectors in the automotive industry today. Competition extends beyond traditional automotive rivals, with influential players like Apple and their partner Google driving innovation. Our client excels in delivering cutting-edge driver interaction and infotainment solutions, committed to sustained success.

The iCAR group is tasked with developing, constructing, and maintaining test objects essential for all teams in the Connected Experience division for software testing and development. This primarily includes subsystem rigs, automatic Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs, and vehicles. The Update team bears the primary responsibility for ensuring that test objects remain current with the latest hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

• Updating cars and bench rigs with the latest developed software.
• Modifying hardware (ECUs/Node computers) in bench rigs or HILs.
• Updating individual nodes.
• Fault tracing.
• Communicating update schedules.
• Planning update activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid European driver’s license (Category B).
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
