Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a HIL Engineer – Thermal Management, CAE & Verification 97820.

If you are a HIL Engineer who wants to contribute to energy-efficient propulsion, then this is your chance! We are looking for an experienced HIL Engineer with knowledge in mechatronics to enable our client’s transformation into a software-driven organization.

You will belong to the CAE & Verification group. Our client works in virtual, rig, and vehicle environments and is responsible for system, function, and software dimensions. They use Vector HIL both for component software testing and integration into the actual thermal system in a rig environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Take HIL testing within Thermal Management to a fully integrated tool in the CI chain from component to vehicle.
  • Assume ownership of the integration process.
  • Maintain a strong focus on achieving results throughout the integration process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, electrical, or electronics with solid experience within HIL testing.
  • Previous experience in software testing in an HIL environment.
  • University degree in BSc or MSc within mechatronics, electrical, or electronics, with at least 3-8 years of working experience in the relevant field.
  • Solid experience in HIL testing, preferably using Vector with VTest Studio.
  • Good knowledge of scripting using Python and CAPL.

  • Understanding of Continuous Integration tools such as GIT, Gerrit, and SVN.
  • Curiosity, structured approach, good analytical skills, and a strong technical interest.
  • Experience in software development and system design within automotive development is meritorious.
  • Experience with Simulink, TargetLink, Python, C/C++, is meritorious.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Possession of a driving license (B/BE) is highly meritorious.
