Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Component Project Leader / GDL – Exterior System.
At Exterior Systems, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of our client’s organization. If you are interested in connected car technology, share their passion for enhancing the driving experience, possess a customer-centric approach, and are self-driven and communicative, then you may be their new Component Project Leader / GDL.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish the technical solution and align it with stakeholders.
- Ensure the final product’s quality through actions such as FMEA, Design Reviews, and test planning.
- Develop and fulfill design prerequisites within component sourcing timelines.
- Follow up on the budget for component development.
- Develop parts or subsystems according to predefined prerequisites (Technology, Time, and Cost) aligned with the vehicle program.
- Act as a representative for the product area towards the program and the main interface towards the Department Program Manager.
- Lead the cross-functional program team, including suppliers, for the product area.
- Ensure that design reviews are conducted within the assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with a team responsible for developing parts within the department, specifically within the Wiper and Washer area.
- Participate in all phases of development, from initiation to launch, including customer quality validation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in leading sourcing activities, including ESOW preparation.
- Experience in software or hardware design for automotive.
- Node owner competence related to ECU with electronic and software.
