Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer.

Team and Department Overview:

• Connected Experience unit within R&D includes Connectivity, Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Applications, and Data & Diagnostics.
• Vision and strategy: maximize car attractiveness, connect all cars, enhance user experience.
• Connectivity Platform responsible for delivering Global Connectivity as a service, including SW and Mobile Network Services.

Responsibilities:

• Part of a scrum team (~7 persons), working agile on backlog items in 2-week sprints.
• Reporting status and progress in JIRA/Flow and daily standup meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Familiarity with test methodologies like System, Integration, and Component testing.
• Experience in developing Test Automation frameworks in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Embedded Linux and CI/CD tools (bash, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins).
• Strong communication skills in speech and writing, fluency in English.
• Possession of a valid EU or Swedish driver’s license.

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and Embedded C/C++, with experience in application development in C++.
• Knowledge of HIL testing and Agile SW development.
• Fluency in Swedish (written and spoken) and experience working in cross-functional teams.
