Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking a Product Owner for medical devices.

Strengthen an ongoing project with the objective to develop a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) for iOS and Android. Act as Product Developer to refine a concept, specify the product in detail, complete it for launch. Cooperate with design leads and teams to ensure a great user experience and efficient implementation. Be responsible for creation of certain design control documentation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Finalize a product concept for a SaMD in form of a Mobile app
• Collaborate with other design leads and UX designers to ensure an excellent user experience.
• Defining software product requirements covering user needs as well as business needs.
• Work closely with the team to ensure the right prioritisation and facilitate efficient implementation.
• Responsible for creation of multiple design control documents.
• Conduct formal design reviews with a variety of stakeholders.
• Plan design transfer, release and SW maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner or similar role in the MedTech sector.
• Proven track record in mobile app development (Android and iOS).
• Trained in design control according to ISO 13485 and experienced in medical device documentation.
• Skilled in writing and managing software product requirements.
• Strong technical understanding of connected devices and systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and stakeholders such as engineering, marketing, regulatory affairs, and legal.
• Experience with JIRA and managing a backlog.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools like Figma.
• Educational background in Engineering, IT, UX Design, or equivalent.
