Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join their innovative team. The On Call system by our client has revolutionized the connectivity between users and their vehicles, allowing hundreds of thousands of users daily to control their cars remotely. This system improves user experience by integrating advanced remote functionalities like starting the car’s heater via smartphone or home assistant devices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain components of the next-generation Cloud backend for the On Call system within an agile DevOps team.
• Employ modern tools and technologies with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Influence team practices and contribute to the development of projects.
• Optionally, expand your expertise into other system areas such as mobile applications and embedded systems.

Required Experiences:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming and Cloud backend development, emphasizing quality.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git and Jira.

Additional Beneficial Experiences:

• Knowledge of *nix, Cassandra, JMS/MQ, REST, AMQP, MQTT, and gRPC.
• Skills in Grafana and PagerDuty.
• Web development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and Angular.
• Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in the Chinese language, both verbal and written.
