Assignment Description

Our client in banking is seeking a Test Automation Lead/Software automation tester for an assignment in Malmö.

What you’ll do: 

The bank has initiated a core system transformation project with the goal to replace a core banking system. The project will consist of work streams covering the operational needs from product and process perspectives, and also work streams that handle the entire project process from requirements definition, design, development and testing, to ensuring sufficient business readiness. Deliveries will happen from multiple different sources/vendors during 2 years of development and the need for automatic test regression is high.

This request relates to the role as test automation lead/automation tester for the test work stream. The tasks and responsibilities for this role includes the following:

• Develop a test strategy for test automation within the Program
• In collaboration with test managers and other test leads, implement the strategy on the client’s existing automation framework
• Support and coach other testers, when it comes to automation, to ensure that the correct test cases are automated
• Continuously report status to the test manager
• Assist test leads and other testers with defect management, including reporting, tracking and retesting defects.

Who you are:

• Senior tester/test lead with at least five years’ experience within software testing
• Experience working with and developing test automation
• Experience working with Java, C# and/or UIPath
• Experience within bank and finance
• Experience from test within transformation programs/projects
• Experience in working with teams and vendors working mainly remotely
• Experience from working in multi-cultural organizations
• Communicates on a professional level in English
• Nationallity and language: Swedish or English

The client would prefer you to be onsite, with the alternative option of being willing to travel to the office 30% of the time, but preferably onsite.
