Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Security Software Developer. As a Security Software Developer, you will be a part of an agile team, working closely with other software engineers, testers, and architects. As part of the R&D organization, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to generating innovative ideas and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a team of highly motivated software engineers, passionate about Cyber Security.
• You will help build-in security from the ground up using secure coding practices, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
• You will work closely with their internal development teams and partners such as Google, QNX, and Qualcomm to build a robust and world-class secure Infotainment solution.
• You will also be part of developing product security solutions such as IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and vulnerability scanners to secure their vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Software Engineering or similar relevant experience
• Development using Java/C++/Python
• Comfortable with Linux based development environment
• Secure coding practices
• Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement

Meritorious:

• Penetration Testing
• Threat modeling and risk assessment
• Vulnerability analysis, exploitation and mitigation techniques
• Experience within Automotive, Infotainment and from working in an international environment
• Experience in Android stack
• Experience from connectivity technologies like Bluetooth stacks, Wi-Fi and phone mirroring technologies
• Comfortable with Linux based development environment
• Knowledge of current and emerging security and information technology standards and practices
• Driver’s license (B-level)
