Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Component Owner for Hands off Wheel Detection.

The client’s team consists of 20 engineers dedicated to delivering Interior Sensing. In the two teams, you will find a broad range of professionals from recently graduated to senior engineers. The team includes individuals from five different nationalities and primarily uses English for daily communication. The cross-functional teams include System Designers, Software Developers, Testers, and Project Leaders. Tuesdays start with a joint breakfast in the office, shared with their sister group, the Roof Zone Module. Weekly, the team enjoys presentations from members to learn more about each other. On Thursdays, they have ’Fika’ together.

Responsibilities:

• You will be part of sourcing the new version of an electronic node and take the lead in integrating it with the rest of the car.
• Together with System Designers, Testers, Software Developers, and Suppliers, you will ensure that a working functionality is achieved in the car.
• You will ensure adherence to the timeline for Vehicle projects.

Qualifications:

• You have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• You should have previous experience in Automotive Electronics System Design and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
• You must be fluent in English and capable of collaborating and building relationships both within the company and with suppliers.
• A Driving license (Category B) is required.

Meritorious Experience:

• Experience with in-vehicle communication networks (e.g., LIN).
• Knowledge of capacitive sensors.
• Familiarity with SystemWeaver.
• Experience with Elektra.
